About Lucy doodles

Hey! I’m Lucy - the illustrator behind It’s Lucy Doodles.

I’m mum to Olivia, partner of nearly 11 years to Jamie, and cat-mum to Theo. We’re based in sunny South Yorkshire.

After Olivia was diagnosed with autism in January 2024, I left my job to become her full-time carer. When she started school full-time, I found myself feeling a little lost. Picking up my pencil again helped me reconnect with something I’d always loved, and It’s Lucy Doodles was born.

Drawing has always been a passion of mine, and turning it into a small business has brought so much joy and purpose to my days.

Alongside the designs in my shop, I also take commissions. If you have an idea for a custom piece, just drop me a message - I’d love to bring it to life.
