About Lucy doodles

Hey! I’m Lucy — mum to my daughter Olivia, partner of nearly 11 years to Jamie, and cat-mum to Theo. We’re based in sunny South Yorkshire.

Olivia was diagnosed with autism in January 2024, and I left my job to become her full-time carer. Once she started full-time school, I found myself feeling a bit lost… until I picked up my pencil again, and lucydoodles was born. Drawing has always been a passion, and now it fills my days with joy and purpose — that saying “Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” really hits home. I’ve had some lovely messages asking if I take commissions, and yes, I absolutely do! Alongside my website, I’m open to custom pieces too — just drop me a message and I’d love to bring your ideas to life.
